Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 – Section 220

Voluntarily causing hurt to extort confession or information, replacing IPC Section 330, addresses abuse to extract confessions.

Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 – Section 225

Wrongfully confining any person, replacing IPC Section 342, addresses illegal confinement.
