Company Registration Cost Calculator — India, by State

Estimate what it costs to register a company in India. Government charges and stamp duty vary a lot by state — pick yours below for a realistic, itemised estimate in seconds.

What makes up the cost of company registration?

The number you pay is built from a few separate parts. Only some are fixed by government; the rest depend on your state, your capital and your professional.

State stamp duty — charged by your state on the MOA, AOA and incorporation form. This is the part that varies most (Madhya Pradesh is on the higher side; Delhi far lower).
MCA / government filing fee — nil for authorised capital up to ₹15 lakh; a fee applies above that.
Name approval — the SPICe+ Part A / RUN name-reservation fee (about ₹1,000 per application).
PAN & TAN — issued with incorporation; a small statutory fee (around ₹150 combined).
Digital Signature Certificates (DSC) — one per director/partner, typically from ₹1,500 each depending on the provider.
Professional fees — what your lawyer/CA charges to prepare documents and run the filing. Varies with complexity — ask us for an exact figure.

Company registration cost — FAQs

Why does registration cost more in Madhya Pradesh than in Delhi?

Because stamp duty is a state charge, and MP levies higher stamp duty on the MOA and AOA than states like Delhi or Gujarat. The central government (MCA) fee is the same everywhere; only the state part changes.

Is there really no government fee for small companies?

For a company with authorised capital up to ₹15 lakh, the MCA statutory filing fee is nil. You still pay state stamp duty, name approval, PAN/TAN and DSC, plus professional fees.

What does the calculator not include?

It gives an indicative government-plus-setup cost. It excludes professional fees (these vary) and any GST on services. For a precise, all-inclusive figure, request a quote.

Indicative estimate only — not a quote. Figures cover state stamp duty (MOA/AOA/eForm), the MCA government fee, name approval, PAN & TAN and an approximate DSC cost. They exclude professional fees and GST, and change with authorised capital and current state notifications.
