Company registration cost — FAQs
Why does registration cost more in Madhya Pradesh than in Delhi?
Because stamp duty is a state charge, and MP levies higher stamp duty on the MOA and AOA than states like Delhi or Gujarat. The central government (MCA) fee is the same everywhere; only the state part changes.
Is there really no government fee for small companies?
For a company with authorised capital up to ₹15 lakh, the MCA statutory filing fee is nil. You still pay state stamp duty, name approval, PAN/TAN and DSC, plus professional fees.
What does the calculator not include?
It gives an indicative government-plus-setup cost. It excludes professional fees (these vary) and any GST on services. For a precise, all-inclusive figure, request a quote.

Indicative estimate only — not a quote. Figures cover state stamp duty (MOA/AOA/eForm), the MCA government fee, name approval, PAN & TAN and an approximate DSC cost. They exclude professional fees and GST, and change with authorised capital and current state notifications. Stamp-duty values are indicative, from published 2026 rates (at ₹1 lakh capital, scaling where a percentage applies) — sources: state-wise stamp duty 2026, MP fees 2026. Prospect Legal Pvt.
